Welcome to the official FAQ for our upcoming 8th Annual Gala! Below you’ll find answers to common questions about the event, ticketing, sponsorships, and more.
🎟️ Event Details
Q: When and where is the Gala taking place?
A: This year's Gala will be held on Saturday, November 8th in the Stimson Ballroom at The Somm Hotel & Spa, 14800 NE 144th Street, Woodinville, WA, 98072. Doors open at 5:00pm, with dinner and program beginning at 6:30pm.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Think Pacific Northwest chic meets cocktail elegance. We encourage guests to dress a notch above business or smart casual—think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, blazers, and polished separates. Suits, tie optional, and stylish attire are welcome, but tuxedos and formal gowns are not required. Aim for festive, refined, and elevated—perfect for an evening of celebration, conversation, and style.
Q: What is the theme this year?
A: Our theme, “Building Our Future”, celebrates our program growth as we expand education and clinic services in our new location. We are building a movement of hope, inclusion and opportunity.
💳 Tickets & Registration
Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased on the Gala website Tickets page.
Q: Are tickets refundable or transferable?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can no longer attend, please contact us at lisa@themadroneschool.org to update guest information.
Q: Is there a deadline to buy tickets?
A: Yes. Ticket sales close on Wednesday 10/29, or sooner if the event sells out.
🍽️ Dinner, Program & Entertainment
Q: What can I expect during the evening?
A: The evening will include an appetizer reception, three-course dinner, silent and live auctions, feature video, and live entertainment during the silent auction.
Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
A: We do our best. Please indicate any dietary needs when purchasing tickets by emailing us at lisa@themadroneschool.org no later than 11/4/25.
💖 Donations & Sponsorships
Q: I can’t attend. Can I still donate?
A: Yes! You can make a tax-deductible donation online HERE. Every contribution makes a difference.
Q: How do I become a sponsor or underwriter?
A: Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels. Please contact Bill at bill@themadroneschool.org to learn more about the program.
🧭 Accessibility & Parking
Q: Is the venue accessible?
A: Yes, the venue is fully ADA-compliant. If you have specific needs, please let us know in advance.
Q: Is parking available?
A: Yes. valet parking is available for event guests at a rate of $22 and self-parking is offered at $18. These rates are good for up to four hours. The self-parking area is located underground, just to the left of the hotel’s main entrance. Guests utilizing self-parking will find elevator access from the parking lot directly to the main lobby, ensuring easy and accessible entry to the event.
Q: Will there be a silent or live auction?
A: Yes! Guests can bid on exclusive items and experiences in-person at the event. We are not offering online bidding this year.
Q: What if there’s inclement weather?
A: The event is indoors and will take place rain or shine. In the unlikely event of a major weather disruption, updates will be posted on this website and emailed to all registered guests.
